Taribo West (born 26 March 1974) is a retired Nigerian international footballer, famous for his rock-solid defending, aggressive style of play, and colorful hairstyles. A key member of the Super Eagles’ Golden Generation, he represented Nigeria at multiple Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournaments, two FIFA World Cups (1998 & 2002), and was part of the historic squad that won Olympic gold in 1996. He later became a pastor, known as “Pastor Taribo West.”
