

Augustine Miles Kelechi, professionally known as Tekno (a.k.a. Slim Daddy), was born on 17 December 1992 in Bauchi State, Nigeria.
He is originally from Ivo Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, but grew up in several Nigerian states — including Nassarawa, Kaduna, and Abuja — because his father served in the Nigerian Army.
At the age of 8, Tekno enrolled in a music school where he learned to play the piano and guitar, laying the foundation for his career as a multi-talented musician, songwriter, and producer.
Tekno began his career under K-Money Entertainment, releasing Holiday (feat. Davido) in 2013, which introduced him to a wider audience.
He later signed with Made Men Music Group (MMMG), co-owned by Ubi Franklin and Iyanya, where he refined his craft and produced his first major hits.

In 2022, he collaborated with Kizz Daniel on Buga, which became a worldwide anthem and the most Shazamed song globally that year.
In 2023, he released his second album The More the Better, featuring the hit Peace of Mind.
